Amazon Listing Optimization & SEO
Amazon listing optimization improves two things: how often your product shows up in search (SEO) and how often visitors buy (conversion rate, which Amazon reports as unit session percentage). I rewrite titles, bullets and backend search terms around the keywords that actually convert in your ad data, and rework images and A+ content for mobile shoppers. Better conversion also makes every PPC click cheaper to pay for.
What I optimize
Keyword research
Search terms chosen from real conversion data in your Amazon Ads reports, plus competitor gaps found with tools like Helium 10 and Data Dive.
Title & bullets
Benefit-first copy that leads with what the shopper cares about and places the main keywords where Amazon indexes them.
Backend search terms
Synonyms, alternate spellings and secondary terms that don't fit the visible copy, so you are indexed for them anyway.
Mobile-first images
Hero image and infographics designed to be read on a phone, where most Amazon shoppers browse.
A+ content & Brand Store
Premium A+ storytelling and comparison charts that cross-sell your catalog and answer objections before they become returns.
Testing
Split tests on main images and titles using Amazon's Manage Your Experiments, where your brand is eligible.
How to improve your Amazon conversion rate
If a listing gets traffic but doesn't sell, these are the checks that usually matter most:
- Main image. It must stand out at thumbnail size in search results and show the product clearly.
- Price and reviews against competitors. Shoppers compare you with the listings next to you in search. Copy can't fix a big gap here.
- First bullet and first image after the main one. On mobile these are the first things a shopper reads, so lead with the main benefit.
- Questions answered before they are asked. Size, compatibility and what's in the box belong in the images and A+ content, not just the Q&A section.
- Traffic quality. A low conversion rate is often an advertising problem: you are paying for searches that don't match the product. The PPC audit checks this.
Frequently asked questions
It is improving a product listing's title, bullets, description, backend search terms, images and A+ content so it ranks for more relevant searches and converts more of the shoppers who see it.
Often, yes. ACoS is ad spend divided by ad sales. If more of the shoppers you pay for actually buy, ad sales rise for the same spend and ACoS falls.
Listings are part of full brand management. If you only need advertising, I can also manage PPC and leave your listings to your own team.
